Anyone applied from the US(to Los Angeles)? Could somebody please let me know the total processing time?

I posted the application out on the 28th Nov 2009.
Received an email stating they were looking into the application on 3rd Dec 2009.

I am sure it takes around 1week to 10days max once your receive the acknowledgment;
