Apply MN1 for child born in UK

Post by Raviteja440 » Tue Sep 30, 2025 8:44 am

Hi all,
I'm on ILR now.
I am applying for my 1 year child born in UK for registration using MN1 form. He never had any visa as he didn't travelled outside the country. Is that any problem with this?
Also, I believe one referee must be GP or health visitor who know the child and I heard the gp won't provide any referral in this case.
Could you please outline my options please.

Not an issue as children born in the UK have an entitlement to be registered. However I strongly recommend you purchase a private health insurance cover. If you can't find a referee that knows your child in a professional capacity use a family friend who works in a recognised profession.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.
