hello

I will be applying for UK Student visa on 15th feb 2010 , my classes are starting on 1st march 2010 but i have got the letter from college confirming admission upto two weeks upon late arrival. what do you think i have got sufficient time?

Where are you applying from?

If you are from "high-demand" country such as India or Pakistan, then I would doubt that you will be able to attend yuor course on time.

However, if you are applying from other countries, I expect you will make it on time.

If you are applying in UK, then expect to take anywhere from 1 month to 4,5,6 months.

i am applying from pakistan but many of my friends got visa within 1 month time. one got in 8 working days time and one got 24 working days time.

That does not mean that you will as well! :roll:

In comparison to other international (out of UK) applications, 1 months is very very long. If you apply in other countries, it should take no longer than 7 days.

9 out of 10 chances are that you get it in 30 days (90%) if your case is straight forward (reasonable bank documents, and no complications like 2 or more money sponsors).
10/10 in three months....
