Applying for HSMP extension doubt withregard to Photo.

Post by Duvvuri » Wed Sep 30, 2009 5:42 pm

Hi,

I am applying as dependent with my husband. I have a doubt with respect to the photo. When i checked the ukba phot guidance it says that when we smile in photo it changes the facial expression.

I have smiled a little bit in photo and i have used the same pic for UK driving license also.

So , can anyone please tell me do i have to take a fresh photo again or can i use the same. I hope they dnt reject just by saying tht i have smiled in the photo.

Just remember that caseworker will try to find any simple mistake in the application to reject it.. if u think u smiled he will definetely will think u laughed.. make ur application in such a way it is tension free once u apply it..

hope u got the message.. (its just my view)

Don't use the same photo. Get a new photo clicked, for such a minor thing it is just not worth the bother.
Please do not send me any Private Messages as I do not check these.

Pay special attention to the photographs, if you search the group you will see most applications are getting rejected either due to old/invalid photographs or maintenance requirement. These are very easy to get wrong.

As CheshireGoan and Tvn_Ramesh suggested, I would second going for a new batch of passport photos.

just to add, you can always go and use those Automatic Photo Booths, very quick and handy and they are build up to standard for those passport size photos.

Just remember not to smile
