Applying For HSMP

Post by kapiloberoi » Mon Sep 18, 2006 12:44 pm

Hi All,

I cud not resist posting my query on this wonderful forum.

Well, Im planning to apply for UK HSMP and also have a job opportunity in hand. I'm 32 years old, into hardcore networking (LAN / WAN) and have vast experience at graudate and specialist level. So what are the chances of getting thru??
Any additional help shall be appreciated.

Regards
Kapil

Hi Kapil,

Chances are great, provided you can convince the caseworker  . You'll need to provide appropriate evidence to support your claims (graduate level & specialist roles, past earnings, education, partner's achievements etc. etc.) and to gain the necessary 65 points.

Good starting point is the guidance notes available on the website: http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... o28_06.doc

In order to understand what caseworkers look for when evaluating your application, read the documents given on the following webpage really carefully. http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/docume ... rguidance/

All the best.
