applying for ilr help

i am over 18 and came to uk as student on tier 4. my both parents are here in uk and have got ilr. so i am trying to apply for ilr through parents as i am dependent on them. so can anyone tell me if i am eligible to apply and if so what are the requirements and qualification needed
