Applying for ILR

Post by salmanmj1 » Tue Oct 14, 2014 10:59 am

Dear Senior Members of the team.

I was applying for my ILR in 2nd week of Decemeber 2015. My visa expires on 14 Jan 2015. I was hoping if people can help me answer the following questions

1) My wife got her PBS dependant visa on Feb 2013 & ofcourse this expires on 14 Jan 2015 with me. She will be extending her visa as a PBS dependant on my application. I was wondering that do I need to request the case worker explicitly to extend my wife visa till Feb 2018 so that she can complete her full 5 years in UK. I don't want to be stuck putting in another extension application for a couple of months.

2) My son who is almost 2 now & has his dependant visa expiring on 14 Jan 2015. Should I totally exclude him from the application - and apply for his passport directly once my ILR is processed.

3) Although thankfully I earn well above the 50K mark and meet the minumum financial requirements but at the same time my expenses are large too - do I need to include my wife income on the application too or my alone would suffice.

I will really appreciate if a senior member of this forum can respond to my answer point wise.

Many Thanks,
