Applying for UK Tier 1

Hi,
I am applying for UK Tier 1 from Ireland along with my family (Wife and Child). Its said that the principal applicant should have a min of 2800 pounds + dependent 1600 pounds. so in my case its 6000 Pounds.

I dont have it in ireland, but I have it in india in 2 different bank accounts. Could i submit that bank balance. Would they accept it.

Would bank balances do or should I get a letter from Bank manager. The balance would show in Indian Rupees . Is that OK ?

How long with the processing time take if applied.

Could you please share your experiences. I can also apply alone first. But I am wondering would it be difficult to apply for family later after I secure the visa. (like for eg : Would they ask to show that I am in a Job in UK for certain amount of period and pay slips etc to apply for family ) . Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

It is permissible to show that your savings are in two different countries, but make sure you explain this clearly in your cover letter.

As for applying for the visa for your family, it is much cheaper to do this together rather than separately. As for processing times, applications within the UK are taking about 4 weeks on average and from India are taking much less.
