Applying for my wife's PR status

Hello. I am a Canadian citizen and passport holder. I have been working in UK since July 2007 and have been a non resident since.

I got married in November 2010 and my wife isalso with me in UK, she is a Pksitani citizen and here in the UK on a spouse visa. I would like to apply for her PR status.

Can someone please help me in how this can be done from the UK? If we need to fly to Canada to get her passport stamped, then that is ok and we will do so. I did not want to apply for a visitor visa for her (as she has a Pakistani passport and woukld need a visa for Canada) and would prefer it if I can submit her form here so that she can travel to Canada on the PR status and get her passport stamped and complete any other paper work etc. in Canada.
