The biometrics appt is for biometrics only, they can't correct your form, they are not caseworkers, just TLS agents.
No point telling them.

The reason UKVI ask for parents' details is to ascertain whether you might be British already due to parentage (some people don't realise it!). In my case I got my mother's nationality wrong - only noticed it after I attended the ceremony.
