Yes, that's weird, but I can't really see applications being refused purely on that basis of the concession being removed from the guidance two days early.
That's for sure. It's clear from the guidance that it is a grace period not further leave, but the wording also suggests that maybe applications can be made during the grace period. That will hopefully be clarified very soon.
Yes, UKCISA is right that removing the provision when it still had 3 days left to run was strange and unreasonable.
