Applying OCI from India

Hi,

I'm applying OCI card for my 6 months old daughter (Naturalized by Birth) from India. Currently she is in India on a Visa which will expire by end of Apr.

Few questions

1) We been asked to get an Apostille from Department for Commonwealth and Foreign Affairs. But i'm unable to do it online as it says not allowed for a 6 month but doesnt give clear picture on where and how to get it.
Anyone can throw some references?

2) Online OCI application submission. I'm trying to upload both mine & my wife Passport copies to prove my daughter is of Indian Origin but the system is not allowing more that 1 document. Any options? and also is our passport copied enough to prove my daughter is of Indian Origin?

3)We also need to submit address proof (India address) for my daughter but she was born in UK. Again, is my passport copy is sufficient? as it has our current indian adress.

Point 2- You can combine both your and wife passpory as single pdf and upload it. (Total size less than 500kb)

Btw i tried uploading supporting docs just now(GMT 22.00 hrs and i could not upload any supporting docs ).

Are you atleast able to upload any document?

Thanks. I uploaded my doc alone few days back, so not sure of current issue.

For 1 - I spoke to Legalization department and sent the Original Birth Certificate for Legalization / Apostille.
So expecting the document back by end of this week. Hopefully this is sorted.

For 3 - I sent email to VFS helpline and then confirmed Parent's passport copy + Child Birth certificate with Parents name will be sufficient.

Hopefully i will have everything i need by end of this week and then have to wait and watch.
