Applying Visa again after being Illegal in Schengen State

Hi all,

I have been a Masters student in France and finished in Aug 2008. My Visa finished on 1 Sept 2008.


I then started looking for Job and found one now in France, so they granted me the contract now.

I am from India.

By Rule, a third world country student can stay for six months in France after finishing Masters to look for Job, but I am two months late now.

So, I am going back to India and re-applying.

Now, the problem is, will they not ask me that why I stayed this time illegally.Can it be a problem when I re-apply for my visa ... ?
