No appointment date available from VFS

Hi all
Applied for partner visa from Brasilia, Brazil. Husband is British, I am Brazilian. Paid application fee, NHS surcharge etc. I got GWF number but when I login to VFS and try to get appointment for biometrics, there is no date available. Asked to VFS via email and Twitter and all they say is ¨Check in a few days as new appointments will be made available. Please note that we are opening up the required number of appointment slots while ensuring physical distancing norms and a safe environment at our Visa Application Centres. ¨
It has been a week now, checking regularly and still no date is available. Hence we couldn't even upload the documents. Does it also mean there was no progress for the application? What do you suggest to do?

VFS appointments are an issue in many countries due to COVID-19. It is probably best to check daily at 00:00 and continually throughout the morning.

Your should be able to upload the documents if you have scanned them.

Usually, the application gets to be attended to after biometrics appointment.
