assessment ?

assessment ?

Hi all,

Is their an assessment process for tier 1 general visa ?
I have heard that first you submit you documents for assessment by uk border agency and then submit your passport for the visa stamped.
Is this correct.

It used to be like that some time back. But now everything is at one go. You have to send your passport along with your application. They will assess your application and if you meet the criteria, your passport will be returned with a visa.
