asylum case reviewed ?

Hi,
I was reading this and cannot really get into it, I mean it's legal and you never know what it is, I am just wondering whether I can be affected by this or not, I applied asylum in 1998 and refused in 2001, my appeal also, judical review until 2003 that I was completely turned down, do you think i was affected by this, please look at the link

Also the H/O had been sending forms for many people I am just wondering if someone can ask the H/O to send me one because i moved address without telling them 4 years ago, can I ask them my self or do i need a solicitor for that and what is it called again this kind of procedure.

From what I understand, it would only affect you if there would have been a different decision if the case had been decided at the appropriate time; for example, if your case was unreasonably delayed, and Home Office policy toward asylum-seekers from your country had changed by the time your case was looked at. This was the case with people from Iraq and Afghanistan who were given four years leave to remain even if their cases were refused, until there was a policy change.

As for getting hold of legacy case questionnaires, you cannot get one until the Home Office decides to send you one, unless there are exceptional circumstances why your case should be considered in front of others. However, it may be a good idea to get a solicitor to make a representatin to the Home Office so that they can get one out to you when the time comes.

Being considered for case resolution does not guarantee being granted papers. Paying money for a copy of the questionnaire, as some have done, is a waste of time and money.
