Eligibility status for Aus immigration with new rules

Hi,

I have got skill assessment completed in 2011 and job code also assigned. But I have gone thru IELTS but not succeeded with 7 in each band . After that I have renewed skill assessment in July 2012 and got extended for another 2 years i.e. till july 2014.This time I want to attempt IELTS very seriously since my jobcode requires 7 in each band.
I want to know what ever skill assessment and jobcode given is valid or not with current rules. Becos some consultancies told that it may not valid since rules are changing very frequently asking for new assessment.

Please guide me
