Hi,
To apply for General Skilled Migration to Australia you will need to satisfy a points test - as long as you have 6 years experience as a hairdresser, have good English, are aged under 45 years and have been working for 3 out of the last 4 years you should satisfy the points test.Once you are confident that you pass the points test the first stage of the application process is to get your skills assessed through Trades Recognition Australia.Once your skills are deemed suitable for migration by TRA you can apply to the Department of Immigration & Multicultural Affairs for migration. You need to be a skilled migrant. You need to acheive a certain number of points before you are assessed whether a PR status can be granted to you or not.
