Austrian residence permit and Tier 2 ICT

Hi,

I am currently employed by Austrian company and hold residence permit card. Now the same company wants to transfer me to UK branch. Is it possible that I get my salary in Austria to keep residence permit active but stay in UK on Tier 2 ICT long term.

I want to keep Austrian residence because i will have frequent business trips to Schengen states.

are you a non-EEA national?
Is the UK branch of the Austrian company a T2 ICT licensed sponsor?
Have you worked for the company for at least 12 months?

If you came to the UK under T2 ICT LTS it would be immaterial where your salary was paid (UK or abroad) but it would have to be at least £40,600 incl. acceptable allowances (or the equivalent in euros).

Yes I am non EEA national and company has tier 2 license.
But will I be able to keep my residence in Austria also as I would spend time mostly in UK?

It is doubtful that anyone on this forum can advise you about the Austrian rules, you'll need to make enquiries locally in Austria
