award meeting in june and visa ends in may!!

i have had advised from an immigration solicitor, he suggested me to hit an application for psw along with covering letter stating about results and it should be allright, by the time HO is looking at the case and in all this time my result will be out. I have issued a letter from my tutor on the uni letter head mentioning about the situation. has anyone had been through this situation, please help!!

lots of people.. please do some research on the forum.. Did you have to resubmit any bit of coursework which got you into this situation. Ideally a student Visa is granted for the period of the course + an additional 4 months.

no i was not left with any coursework, it was all submitted in feb. but didnot realise that uni holds award meeting in june!! my result is out on the 18june, so basically 2 weeks delay time with one document, which i can send after to complete the criteria...

really lots of people come across this!! could you please suggest me?
that will be grateful!!!
