B1 requirements for Naturalisation on Skilled worker route

Post by Bilalhassan148 » Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:00 pm

Hi All,

I am very happy and relaxed to share that I have got my ILR based in 5 years route on Skilled Worker Visa.

Thank you all of you who assisted me throughout this process.

As I am on ILR based on 5 years Skilled Worker Visa route. Just wondering if I need B1 for my naturalization.

Note: I did not have to meet the English requirement when I applied for ILR just because I met it already on my first skilled visa application. I do have 5 years old expired IELTS certificate with 5.5 bands.

My wife is also on ILR as dependant, and she has a UK degree. So, does she also need a B1 for naturalisation?
Thanks 🙂

None of you should need it as you used your IELTS for a previous immigration application (still include all details in the application) and wife has a UK degree.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.
