Baby born to parents abroad, how to get baby passport now

Post by ItsRainingAgain » Mon May 31, 2021 5:17 am

Hi,

Both parents are British citizens after naturalization.

We both are living in pakistan now for 1 year

We have a new addition to family here (outside UK).

One of parent will return tomorrow back to UK, but new born will stay in pakistan.

How to get British passport for new born, do we need to apply for MN1 OR register as British citizen first and then apply for British passport and what documents would be needed ?

Thanks in advance x

Baby is automatically British. Apply for either a British passport or CoE-RoA.
