Need expert advice from senior forum members and mods.
I have read all PDF's on Tier -1 visa and I am very well versed with all documents/ supporting evidences required for visa application and processing.
Now my case is like this. I took 7 yrs to complete the BE degree course of 4 yrs.
In PBS calculator my degree and university/college both are recognised and I get 30 points for the same, but I am not sure as to what duration to choose. Ideally I should take course length 4 yrs but less than 5yrs option.
But I finished the course after 7 yrs. I will submit my degree that states the passing year as a MANDATORY evidence
I still get 30 points If I choose course length duration of 7yrs but less than 8.
What should I choose? I am almost ready with my application barring the educational degree part. Does HO consider BE degrees and education that the applicant has taken more time to complete than the duration of the course?
Since the PBS calculator has recognized this, HO should approve my case.
But I need some advice from experts over here.
Also I guess everybody over here is aware of the fact that the PBS calulator is just a tool to assess and does not qurantee a visa.
Please post and let me know what course duration I should mention.
Also in the application forum I have stated the course start date as July 1994 and end date as May 2000 . And the year of award Jan 2001 ( The yr) I passed the degree course.
Thanks!
