Backdated ILR letter

Backdated ILR letter

Because my ILR was due before i applied, my approval had the usual letter indicating the date i was free from immigration control. However the last paragrah of the letter referrred to my request for refund of my earlier extension fee and its refusal. Actually i was aware that i was not qualified foer the refund so did not make any such request. Is this normal - say format of standared response. Any other person with a similar letter?
