.

How do you envision your mechanism for immigration?

Will you work? Start your own business? Come as a family member? Or by acestry? Are you independently wealthy and will live off of your bank account?

As far as the Blue Card, it is only an idea that is being negotiated right now. It has been discussed in numerous topics here, including these three most recently:

-> Europe immigration forum -> BBC:Have your say on 'blue card'

-> Europe immigration forum -> Blue card just for Asians or for everyone????????????

-> Europe immigration forum -> EU BLUE CARD SCHEME

We are covering developments on the EU Blue Card scheme regularly at workpermit.com :

• France, Spain and Italy back European Union blue card

There are links from that story to a number of others.

Hello Lennon_utt, just found your post re immigrating to the EU as a Bahamian. Wondering if you have moved, since the post is many years old. Can anyone tell me how a Bahamian can immigrate to Spain. I've just reviewed gov sites and it appears that Bahamians can go as a tourist to Spain for a max of 3mths. Any advice would be most helpful as he plans to move there next year.
