bank letter doubt..

Post by champu » Thu Feb 17, 2011 12:02 pm

Hi,

I am worried abt my bank letter.
My bank letter is showing the a/c balance as on 14/2/2011.
and contains all other information abt me.

The bank manager mentions that I am constantly maintaining a balance of required 2800 since last 3 months.

Now I am worried as he didnt mention any dates and just wrote since last 3 months and the letter is dated 14/2/2011.

Wat are the chances of this going wrong.

I think it is fine.

The requirements are as follows:
(see para 103 iii) of the PSW policy guidance

iii) Letter from bank confirming funds and that they have been in the bank for a consecutive 90 day period, ending no more than one calendar month before the date of
application:
The letter from a bank or building society should show:
the applicant’s name;•
the account number;•
the date of the letter;•
the financial institution’s name and logo;•
the funds held in the applicant’s account;•
that the funds of £2,800 or £800 have been • in the bank for at least a consecutive 90 day period on and immediately before the date of the letter.

ohh thx..
i can little relax..i submitted today..and was kicking myself when returned home when i realized that manager said since last 3 months..
everything else is there..
just this one thing was worrying..
so i can relax a bit.

though i have submitted my bank account statement too..
One more query..
the bank statement is printed by the manager .it has name and everyting of the bank printed on it..
Then the manager stamped the a/c statment with bank stamp(it shows logo n name) and signed it..

This is fine rite?
or the bank statements needto show big logo on the top?

As quoted above it only requires logo, so relax and pray for positive outcome!

I think it is fine as already stated and you have also submitted bank statements which compliment the letter.
