Bank statement and letter - urgent query

Post by nidhivp » Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:28 am

Dear Friends,

I am planning to apply on Monday.

Need guidance on the below doubts -

1) For maintenance funds, I am planning to show a fixed deposit. I have got the necessary letter from the bank as per the format posted in the forum.
But the bank letter says fixed deposit receipt instead of term deposit receipt as mentioned in the physical deposit receipt. As we all know that term deposit and fixed deposit are one and the same. Would the wordings on the bank letter create a problem? Would it create a doubt to the ECO?

2) I am showing the previous earnings from Nov 2009 to Oct 2010 for which I have got the bank statement from 1 oct 2009 to 29 nov 2010.
And for the maintenance funds, i am showing the bank statement from 1 Sep 2010 to 7 Dec 2010 alongwith bank letter.
As such, the bank statement for previous earnings and maintenance funds are for different date periods. Would this be a problem?
