Bank statement dates with letter from bank

Post by buzz_dilli » Wed Sep 08, 2010 9:12 pm

Hi folks,

Am submitting my dependents visa application t'row so just some final checks to ensure all is in order.

1. We are attaching bank statements ending June 18, July 18, and Aug 18 alongwith the letter from the bank that confirms the min. funds were held in the account for the 3-month period, 1 June till 31 Aug. Is this okay? The concern is statements have transactions only upto Aug 18 (the latest statement).

2. Please can someone reference a link to the sponsorship letter template here.

Cheers!

How can statements showing transactions until 18-Aug (only) be used to prove availability of funds for three months ending 31-Aug?

Or am I missing something? :?

Hi Sush - Fair question that..sorry i should have mentioned that i am also attaching the transactions printout for the period (01 Jun - 31 Aug 2010), stamped and certified by the bank so these should take care of the missing days from the original bank statements. Hoping this should suffice. In my original comment, i should have mentioned "original bank statements" instead of "...concern is statements..." .Appreciate any comments from your end though.

Thanks for poking!
