Bank statement - Query on dates

Hi,

Am submitting internet printout of savings account, signed by bank, for proof of maintenance for my wife's dependant visa.

The last transaction date was on 1 Jan 2009, while the date printed was 20 Jan 2009 and bank signed on 20 Jan 2009.

What is the date that the ECO would take into consideration for the latest date? (all evidence must be dated no more than one month before the application is submitted.)

Date of application will be 30 Jan 2009.

It would be on the date when the bank statment was issued. The statement would itself tell from the date it has started and till what date it has been issued....

I am just confirming what T_mahmood mentioend..

Just make sure the Period of the Bank statement is within the 1month timeline you are applying your application...

BECAUSE, If the bank statement period says like 15 Dec 2008 - 14 Jan 2009... than even the statement is printed on 20th Jan, you are submitting the details till 14th Jan only.. hope you got my point and that too you mentioned that your last transcation date is 1st Jan, which will also will not help to say it covers till 20th JAN...

Bottom line is the period of the bank statement should be clearly mentioned and see that it is ok as per your requirement..
