bank statement with LLoyds

Post by chie259 » Sat Sep 18, 2010 9:36 am

I have to extend my visa for the main course in university. But my bank account will be 28 days on 8th Oct. I thought i just print the e-banking statement and come to the bank and ask them to stamp, but actually Lloyds said that i takes at least 10 days to do the bank statement.so i may receive my bank statement on 18th, but i have to do my visa on 15th because 17th Oct will be my expired date. what can i do now?

my friend was in same problem.
then he went to lloyds bank rochdale and after discussing with counter man they issue him a letter(a sample is given below).
it was accepted by home office.

This is to conform that you have a current account with Lloyds Tsb bank. sort code 00-00-00 a/c no 00000000 and at today’s date your account balance is £0000.00 and has been at this or above since 00/00/2010.

may this help you.

Just go to Bank and Discuss (OverseasExpert.co.uk)

Hi,

I think the best way to resolve this issue is, just go to Lloyds Bank and discuss the situation with them to get Bank Account Statement quickly or before 15th.

I wish you best luck for your visa extension.

Williams.

1. Go to Lloyds Bank branch and tell them your story, they'll probably understand because issuing bank statements for Visas is a common activity there. The best bank statement is ofcourse the one you receive by the bank (not printed off the internet).

2. In anycase make sure the LOGO is visible on the statement

3. If you print it off the internet via online banking system then you need to go to the branch and have it stamped (on every page) and signed by the branch manager. Otherwise it will not work for the Visa office.

The best bet right now is to get the print outs and take it to the branch to get 'em signed and stamped. (Prints should be in color/logo clearly visible/no missprints etc)

Good luck

Mine was not LLoyds actually. But any local branch would do. There must be something else going on with your account. You can try explaining them what you need the statements for.
