Bank Statements Dates

Was wondering how old can the bank statements be? I am going to the States for about 10 days before returning back to NZ from the UK - So I guess my bank statements might be about 2 weeks old at least; will this be okay?

if you are applying overseas it to be within 7 days old. In country applicants can have statements that are 1 month old

i meant for maintenance funds.

As stated by the above poster, regarding maintenance funds, the following is copied and pasted from the NZ BHC web site:

You will need to provide your last three months' bank statements as supporting evidence of this requirement. The final statement must not be more than seven days old from the date the application has been lodged.
