not sure why you were asking the bank to stamp the statements before the 28 days.

In any case, HSBC online bank statements usually do not have the bank's logo when printed out and therefore even if they stamp the statements they won't be accepted without the logo.

You could ask them to print ad hoc statements out in the branch on letterheaded paper/including the logo.

You could also ask them to provide you a letter confirming the minimum amount you have had in the account for 90 days.

If they refuse to do this ask to speak to a manger/complain or try another branch. There is not a 'law' that you can refer to in order to make them stamp the statements.

You should make sure you apply in time.

When do you expect your postal bank statements?

Sorry, my bad, i meant that i was trying to convence them to print it at the bank, and stamp it on time thats tommorrow 28-10-2011.

yeah i noticed that today

They finally said that they can printed on a paper which contain the bank logo, they insisted also that this paper holds a strong legal value so NO Stamps is needed, as this printed bank statment contains all the info the UKBA had specified in the guidance ?????

You could also ask them to provide you a letter confirming the minimum amount you have had in the account for 90 days.

They refused saying "i am afraid we don't do this anymore" ???

It was the manager himself at both branches. :(

You should make sure you apply in time.

I know my good man.

When do you expect your postal bank statements?

The problem is that every bank statment covers the period of (19) from month "A" to the (20) of month "B", meaning that the post is not an option, as it wont be avaliable on time

Do you think that an actual bank statments sent by post showing the address pluse another one with bank letter head and logo, which would be printed at the bank branch should be enough regardless of the stamps ????!!!

Ad hoc statements printed out in the bank on the bank's letter head do not need to be stamped - only online statements need to be stamped. As long as the statements printed out int he bank include the information set out in para 104 of the policy guidance then they should be fine

If you want also send the posted statements you do have from the same account then fine.

In any case - if the statements end on 20th October then surely you will recieve it by 31st?

the assistant at the bank showed me some paper regarding this regulation, the paper she was holding beard the UKBA logo, she told me that all the requirments are met in the HSBC print out.

Do you have a past experince applying for PSW using this HSBC print out !??!
