Bankuptcy is a problem for ILR application ???

Hi,
I was a living in UK for last 10 years student and unfortunately once I was become bankrupt.

I like to know this could be a problem to get ILR ???

If you show an intention/recklessness not to pay debts that could be considered as a grounds for refusal. However, you could argue that the economic downturn created the situation and you now pay your debts, I'm assuming.

See the guidance (click), it may also have a detrimental affect for naturalisation.
