Banned for 10 years - can I visit UK

I was refused in sept 2009 and banned for 10 years 320B because of a prior application I made in August 2008 and had no idea what a 3207A mean't.
Now I'm an American citizen,can I visit the UK without any problems from immigration at the airport or does the ban still apply?

(7A) where false representations have been made or false documents or information have been submitted (whether or not material to the application, and whether or not to the applicant’s knowledge), or material facts have not been disclosed, in relation to the application or in order to obtain documents from the Secretary of State or a third party required in support of the application.

You will be unable to enter the UK visa-free and an application for a visitor visa stands little if any chance of success during the period of the ban imposed.
