Belgian WP Holder, Planning to shift jobs and extend WP

Hello All,

I'm an Indian passport holder and have worked in Belgium for over 9 months on B Category Work Permit. I was working with an Indian IT Company and was deputed to Belgium on temporary basis.

Now, I'm planning to find a job in Belgium and move there for good. I have made some contacts in Belgium who can help me get a WP for a specific staffing agency and then I will have to work / find jobs on contract basis.

However I'm not sure how good this idea is. Please be kind to give me a head start on this.

Also,
My WP would expire by end of March 2012, should I apply for WP for staffing agency before expiry?
How long will it take for me to get an EU passport if I marry a Belgian citizen?
How much does it ideally costs a company to get a WP for its employee?

Dear All,

Currently I'm not in Belgium and have a work permit category B which expires in April 2012, however my VISA on passport says it has expired in July 2011.

Can I travel by showing my WP to authorities or do I need to get another VISA?
