Bereaved wife's 5_year ILR?

Post by Angelica » Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:55 am

Hi Folks

A friend of mine died yesterday. Later this year, he(deceased) will qualify for ILR under 5 years work permit.

The wife is the dependant.

I knew the wife can still get ILR but how?

Thanks

I'm not sure she can automatically, spouses of deceased BC's can but I'm not sure WP/HSMP deps can.

Maybe some sort of DL?

See also 5. BEREAVED SPOUSES. 287(b) doesn't appear to be applicable to bereaved partners of work permit holders.
