Between Doncaster and Hsmp team

I submitted my application in january..cant remember the actual date but it was received at doncaster on the 30th( confirmed online)

I attached a Draft drawn on Citibank for my payment.

I Have confirmed from the payment system online that draft was cleared on the 2nd of february. I expect based on this that the HSMP should have received my application but alas..............

I just called the Hsmp team now i was told they are yet to receive my application.... He actually gave me my old reference number and told me a decision had been made on that but confirmed the new application hasnt got to them..

How can I trace this.... sent a mail to them 2 days ago ..no reply??

any ideas???

What about the acknowledgement letter after payment was deducted in your second letter? Have you recieved it?

thats the start of the matter..... it was because i did not receive an acknowledgement that i called them up.
Also i just got a reply to my email of 2 days ago...it reads

"Dear ***,

Thank you for your enquiry. In order to fully answer your query I need to
know what application it is that you have sent to Doncaster? What form did
you submit, and how much were the fees? In addition, how did you send it- by
Royal Mail, Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery?

I have replied to this explaining the whole situation.. thank God he replied from his personal official email not the general enquiry one...so there should be continuity on the case....

Will keep posted.... meanwhile will appreciate any other ideas

You could also contact the payment handling service, their contact number should also be on the HSMP form. It could be a simple case of lost/delayed post. I did not recieve my acknowledgement letter either.

One factor which you may be aware of is that your new application will also be alloted a reference number based on the old application. For instance if your application reference number was 12345, the new reference number could be something like 12345/01 OR 12345-01

ok will look for the doncasters contact no and try calling them, though did not ask for an acknowledgement letter but an email which worked for me the first time and also for others I know. I expect to receive an email stating when my application was recvd and my ref no.

As per reference no.. I expect this new one to be 041***/02.
