Thanks for the update, I guess it will only be next week then, I hope

I got the acknowledgement for the complaint and said they will deal with it within the next 20 working days.

20 days!!!! They took away £594 for the delay. I also got the similar email. It is annoying. Got ack letter on 15th May ..........then nothing.......

hey guys.. i am on the same boat.applied on the 4th of april. received ack letter on 12th may dated 8th of may..but nothing since then.. is complaining to ukba or writng to your MP doing any good?

Might do however they are scandalously notorious dealing with complaints especially with classic excuse “WE DON’T DISCUSS INDIVIDUAL CASSES”

Hi guys called up UKBA as usual they didn't wanted to disclose anything fortunately i got an asian guy on the other side and after lot of hassling and arguing I pressurised him to reveal some info that UKBA is facing a technical problem with their system where application have been loaded onto their system but some of them (or probably all of them) are not being traced hence no biometric letter being generated (which is an automated process). So god knows how long it well take it to get it resolved he said they are working on it but wouldn't give me any more info.

according to your other thread you have had a successful appeal and you are waiting for a call letter from the embassy not a biometric letter from the UKBA in the UK.

Are you talking about PSW, cause in that case its not possible that uou applied on 21st may..., the route closed on 6th April..

In any which case.., try and find the letter, its valid for 15 days... Else call UKBA and tell them the situation and request for a new one..!

No it was Tier-1 application. I have contacted UKBA and they are saying to email your situation to AppointmentException ....

I had called them up again today and was told that my application is still not on their system. I don't know what to do now, they kept telling me that they had received a high number of applications and hence the longer waiting time. But its been over 3 weeks since the people who applied the day before me to get the letter so why such a big delay? I don't understand the point behind this, is it deliberate? Are they discriminating by nationality or something? I just don't understand!!

Acknowledgement Around 8th May

Still waiting for the biometric invitation. Hope it arrives this week.
