Biometric question

Thanks to all the people who help people out.
I am applying for my tier 1 extension on 27th may at PEO Cardiff. My question is regarding the biometric as I haven't done it. Is biometric needed to be taken separately or will home office do it on the same day? Can somebody guidE me in this regard? Thanks

Thanks for answering. But do I need to book any separate appointment for the biometric? And will it be done before or after the approval of the visa?
