Biometric Residence Permit required for Tier 1 application?

Biometric Residence Permit required for Tier 1 application?

Hi I'm trying to apply for the Tier 1 before Apr 2011 and noted that the application requires details on my Biometric Residence Permit. However I don't have one. Do I need to apply for that before I can start my Tier 1 application or do I just submit my Tier 1 application without it and they'll send me info on where I can go to submit my Biometrics?

The Immigration website doesn't seem to explain this very clearly.

You'll know what needs to be done if you carefully read the application form and the guidance given at the end of it.

Hint: There's a "if" you've missed reading!
