Biometrics Enrolment Letter

Hi,

I hope someone can help me out with this
I've applied (via the NCS service) for the AN-British Citizenship few weeks ago and I've received the letter for the biometrics enrolment.

Got to the Post Office and they informed me they could not process because there was no barcode on it...
Has this happened to anyone?

Suggest you email to the address given in the letter requesting re-issue of the letter, with bar code.

The thing is: I am reading the letter and it does not mention any barcode.

"You must bring the backpage of this letter (which includes your Case Reference Number, full name and date of birth) with you when you attend the Post Office Ltd Branch".
So my question is now: is this letter supposed to have a barcode?

Correct, just looked at my letter, the "Back Page" includes a box with a scan field (not a barcode).

If I remember correctly, you get two things:

1. A cover letter explaining you have to do the biometrics within certain number of days.

2. A separate page with your name, address, case ref number, a large rectangular barcode (looks more like QR code than barcode) which the Post Office scans.

If you are sure you havent got the second one, contact home office

Just checked again and, aside from the details on the first page, there is no barcode, no QR code, nothing.

The barcode is not on the letter or on the first page. The set of documents I received: 1 letter with 4 pages which were double-sided with the 4th page blank apart from the page number and a document reference. This letter had in big bold that you need to bring this with when attending biometric enrolment, but no barcode. Then a single page which acknowledged receipt of documentation and payment and nothing on the back. And then just a single page with my details and two barcodes, one at the top and one at the bottom and a note which says that you need to bring this page if enrolling at a Post Office branch (this page contained nothing else).

Hi how long it takes to receive the letter ?
