Biometrics not enrolled?

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone had any insight into the following. I've enrolled my biometrics this past weekend, but upon calling the UKVI, they have indicated that they have no record of me enrolling my biometrics. It was a bit chaotic at the PO where I enrolled, but obviously this seems a bit unusual that I'm not showing up in the records.

My question to the forum is: Will my biometrics only be recognised by the telephone support team once a caseworker begins to handle my application, or should they be able to indicate that my biometrics have been enrolled right away, considering the process is supposed to be immediate?

It seems unusual, but maybe someone has some feedback? Thanks!
