Hi All,
I have recently got my Birth Certificate from the Local body for the date of birth, I have two certificates, one in English, and One in Local language, both are the stamped and signed by the local authority having the same details but in two deifferent languages.
One things is that this is not the original Birth certificate, I am 27 now, My original is probably lost somewhere, so I got this two cert., the date of approval on this certificate is of Dec-06, where as my date of birth is April-80. However, no where on this certificate it is mentioned like "DUPLICATE" or additional it is given to me as if like a "ORIGINAL".
The only way it can be traced, is with the date of certificate, which is just 15 days ago, where as my age is 27 now.
MY QUESTION IS:
Is this a valid birth proof?
Should I send the ENGLISH copy only or both local language and English Copy?
My first name is written in short, where as my full name (As of now, in application, passport, DL etc) contains a suffix to my name) i.e ABCkumar. I have already got a Notarised affidavit claiming that this birth certificate belongs to me only.
I have already sent them Original Driving Licence, Notarised passport copy, 10th std. pass certificate as age proof. This will be additional proof, that I will send once I get the Application Reference Number.
Folks, please suggest.
