Born on a British military base in Germany

Post by Directive/2004/38/EC » Sat May 14, 2011 1:36 am

A friend was born in Germany in 1963 on a British military base. Neither parents was British.

Is such a base considered "part of the UK"? Does the friend have British citizenship or recourse to something similar...
