uk born child

uk born child

My child was born in 2010 i came to the uk in 2006 from portugal my wife is brazilian since the birth of my daughter we have both become uk citizens, can my daughter who was born in coventry now apply for her own uk passport or does she also need to be naturalized.

I think your daughter may need to be registered as a british citizen since you obtained citizenship AFTER she was born.
The more senior members will know more than me.

Can you clarify when parents became settled in UK (with ILR or PR)?
Who was settled first & when :?: (compared to daughter's DOB)

he came to UK in 2006, child was born in 2010 so there is no way he could be in the country for 5 years before child was born, as he is EU citizen he was't settled so does't looks like child was born British. Op can register child using MN1 form.

Yup but wife is Brazilian so may have had ILR in her own right (if not coming into UK as dependent of an EEA citizen, circa 2006??);
rather than us second-guessing maybe OP can clarify their situation.
