No she doesn't have riht to Italian citizenship....in Italy like most European countries now do not grant citizenship on the basis of being born in a country! I think one of the only countries that gives you citizenship based on birth is America.

For example ...I live in Italy Irish citizen, Husband Moroccan,so if our child was born in Italy it would have both Irish/Moroccan citizenship and then if one of us were to eventually get Italian citizenship it would pass on to the child ...if not they have to wait until they turn 18 then apply!!

Well that is from my experience in Italy they have to prove thehave grown up here!
