Breach of visa condition- FLR (M) Partner visa

I need some general advice.

After a FLR (M) Partner visa has been granted, one of the visa conditions is that the applicant must not 'recourse to public funds'.

If the applicant without notifying the sponsor (British Citizen), submits a Universal Credit claim, am I right to assume that the DWP will prevent the claim from going ahead as they would undertake immigration checks.

I want to know:
1. Would the DWP inform the HO or just give a warning to the applicant from their end.
2. If the HO find out that an application has been submitted but no monetary benefit obtained, what action would they take? I have read that in some cases, they will change the ILR route from 5 years to 10 years and in other cases, their spouse visa will be cancelled and a ban imposed.

I don't understand the question. If a person under immigration control with NRPF condition submit an application for benefit, it will get rejected. However, if this person gave wrong information, for example failed to response correctly to wether he's under immigration control or declared that he is British citizen or ILR holder the application might be approved.

If the application is approved under false information then it is breach of condition and will probably lead to future visa refusals.

If the application contains no false information than under discretion the person might get future visa approved under the condition that he must pay back the benefit.
