break in WP employment - for ILR

Hi people,

Does anyone know what's considered as a break in work permit employment i.e. continuous employment of 5 years for the purpose of ILR.

I have heard if you switch from one WP to another within 28 days it's not considered as a break. Is that true?

Please let me know...
