Bringing non-EU family members to Ireland

Post by Gosia123 » Mon Aug 26, 2019 11:12 am

Hello :)

I am an EU-citizen who has a non-EU husband. We currently live in Poland and my husband holds a polish permanent residence card.

We are planning on moving to Ireland.

My husband’s mother lives outside the EU. She is very sick and is not able to take care of my husband’s siblings (age 14 and 16). Is it possible to bring his siblings and mother to Ireland a few months later?

My husband is planning to take over the legal guardianship of his siblings in his country. Would it be helpful?

I would be very thankful for your help in our difficult situation
