British army

Post by Didier1 » Thu Aug 21, 2014 10:20 pm

Hi all.
I have a bit of an issue at the moment, I was in the army a few yrs ago. I am a South African national. I didnt complete my term and went awol due to several personal issues with my parent, and relationship at the time. Recently I was picked up by the army police. I dont have any criminal recorded and had just been drifting for about 3 yrs.
I am currently awaiting my fate as the CO is still reviewing my case. I just wanted to know how i can legalize my stay if the army terminates my service. I know I will be subject to immigration restriction if I am booted out. Also just want to know what are my options any advice will be greatly appreciated. and also on what grounds I can stay in the UK
Thanks

Were either of your grandparents British?
